Do you
want to win in 2012?
\nEveryone is welcome\; whether you are
new to showing\, have a new horse or would just like to improve your exis
ting skills. The clinic will consist of ring etiquette and discussing the
way of going for different types of horse or pony\, which tack is suitable
for which classes.
\nAll types are invited show ponies\, ridings hor
ses\, cobs\, hunters and hairys !
\nPenny Hollings will be able to of
fer friendly help and advice on turnout for both you and your horse\, ring
craft\, what the judge is looking for and which class(es) are most suitab
le. The day will be split into sessions for groups of no more than 4. You
can choose whether you would like to cover ridden or in hand showing and w
ill be grouped accordingly. (The ridden session will include how to trot y
our horse up for the judge in hand.)
\nRidden sessions will last appr
ox 1½ hours and In- Hand sessions will last approx 1 hour.
\nPlease p
repare yourself and your horse as you would for a showing class\, i.e. cle
an and correctly dressed and plaited if appropriate.
\nThe cost is £2
0 per session per horse/pony for In Hand\, £25 for Ridden\, £40 for both s
essions. If you would like to stay & watch before or after your session da
y stables are available cost £5.00 must be booked in advance.
