Beaver hall specialises in small group camps, providing a close knit friendly atmosphere. The camp provides full board, breakfast, lunch & dinner including tea, coffee, and cordial. Home cooked meals with local produce prepared on site. Evenings are spent in the Lodge, entertainment, fun & laughs with games are a highlight of our Camps.

The aim is to provide you and your horse with 2 days intensive training whilst giving you the opportunity to meet other riders with the same passion. No matter your level of experience you can be assured of gaining useful and practical advice from experienced but friendly professionals whilst having fun.

Maximum 16 places -Min 8

Riders will be placed into appropriate pairs of rider and horse ability. Our instructors will tailor the lessons to suit your level.  It doesn’t matter if you are taking your first steps over poles or have moved on and are now doing grid work, combinations or even a course of jumps, the camp can be tailored to suit your ability from the absolute beginner to the more advanced rider. An extra private lesson can also be arranged on the day of arrival with one of our Resident Trainers- must be booked in advance.

Camp includes 4 x 1hr Lessons

2 Riders maximum in each training session. Lessons will be tailored to suit your ability & can include

  • Pole Work/ Grid Work
  • Rider Position/ Show Jumping Techniques improving rhythm, balance, tempo & co-ordination
  • Flat Work , suppling, lateral, shortening , lengthening
  • Gymnastic Sessions, aimed at the horse & rider ready to improve
  • Learn how to walk a course
  • Seeing-a-Stride, doubles & combinations
  • Riding a line, related distances

On booking please let us know the height you are comfortable with & topics you would ideally like to cover. This Camp will suit absolute beginners to the more advanced.

  • Evening Presentation -importance of straightness & movement of horse & rider & how the saddle affects this.

Arrive the afternoon before, relax & use the arenas & meet your fellow campers. You may camp, stay in your lorry or trailer. Alternatively, we will look after your horse overnight & find you accommodation.

Beaver Hall prides itself on a grass roots approach, whether you are a novice or riding at Grand Prix level, everyone is welcome and catered for.
